About PGS Reverse

A concept at the heart of the PGS Group’s circular economy strategy.

Who are we?

At PGS Reverse, we believe pallets should never be a one-way trip. Single-use pallets waste valuable resources, create unnecessary costs, and place an avoidable burden on the environment. That’s why we keep pallets in circulation for as long as possible.

Through pallet pooling and logistics management, PGS Reverse takes circularity a step further. By extending pallet lifecycles over many years, we reduce new production, lower raw material use, minimize waste and cut greenhouse gas emissions, making your supply chain both more efficient and more sustainable.

Part of the PGS Group’s circular economy strategy

PGS Reverse is an integral part of PGS Group, a company with decades of experience in wooden pallet services, logistics and circular solutions. With a vertically integrated model covering everything from forestry and wood processing to pallet manufacturing, repair and relocation, PGS Group ensures responsible management of pallets throughout their lifecycle.

Our logistics focus contributes to the Group’s broader commitment to circular economy principles by keeping resources in use longer and reducing environmental impact across the supply chain.

Our logistic solutions

PGS Reverse supports the transition to circular pallet logistics through three complementary solutions, designed to keep pallets moving efficiently and sustainably across Europe.

  • ECO PGS®: Eco-designed pooling pallets in various formats, accessible to all sectors.
  • PGS RLS®: Relocation solution for standardized EPAL/EUR pallets.
  • REVERSE+: Delegated management and relocation of your logistics park.

Certificates

ISPM15

ISPM 15 is a heat treatment method applied to solid wood used in wooden packaging, ensuring that no harmful organisms are present. By treating wood according to the ISPM 15 standard, the spread of pests and diseases across borders is effectively prevented.

Thanks to the vertically integrated structure of PGS Group, all pallets and wooden packaging produced within our Group’s certified production sites comply with ISPM 15 requirements. This integrated production model allows PGS Reverse to rely on controlled, compliant and traceable treatment processes throughout the supply chain.

Please note that ISPM 15 heat treatment is a phytosanitary measure and should not be confused with a full pallet drying process.

PEFC

PEFC is the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes and a worldwide forest certification system. PEFC promotes forest management that is respectful of the environment, socially beneficial and economically responsible. The PEFC label can be found on our pallets and guarantees that the wood used in our products comes from sustainably managed forests.
