What is ECO PGS®?

ECO PGS is our own pooling pallet that offers a circular alternative to disposable one-way pallets. Designed for shared use across multiple clients, it extends circular packaging solutions to a wider range of industries, not only controlled logistics networks such as FMCG. In doing so, it helps more companies transition from linear to circular systems.

What further distinguishes ECO PGS is its eco-design. Each pallet is engineered to minimize material use, optimize durability, and allow for repeated use and repair. Made from PEFC-certified wood sourced from sustainably managed European forests, ECO PGS® combines responsible sourcing with long-term performance.

How does ECO PGS® work?

ECO PGS® operates as a structured multi-rotation pooling system. After delivery, pallets remain in circulation through controlled collection, inspection and repair before being reintroduced into the pool.

To ensure efficient recovery, customers notify us when green ECO PGS® pallets have arrived at the delivery point. Once notified, PGS Reverse organises targeted collection from the nearest facility.

Thanks to their eco-design more pallets can be transported per truckload, improving transport efficiency while reducing environmental impact.

This coordinated process ensures a controlled and truly closed-loop system.
