Growing forests beyond our supply chain: PGS Reverse & Reforest’Action
At PGS Reverse, wood is at the heart of our business. That is why our commitment to circular logistics goes hand in hand with active forest regeneration.
Since 2018, PGS Reverse has partnered with Reforest’Action to support forest restoration and conservation projects, combining local impact in France with international climate action.
A double contribution to forests
Our approach is built on two complementary pillars:
1. Financing local forestry projects in France
PGS Reverse supports the restoration of French forests in connection with its business activities, creating a positive impact close to our stakeholders and operating sites.
2. Offsetting CO₂ emissions through conservation projects
We finance forest conservation projects (REDD+) in tropical areas through the purchase of certified carbon credits, corresponding to the emissions generated by our eco-designed pallet deliveries.
This dual approach allows us to both regenerate ecosystems locally and contribute to the protection of high-biodiversity forests internationally.
Tangible impact since 2018
Since the start of our partnership, PGS Reverse has contributed to:
- Over 54,000 trees planted or preserved in France
- More than 17,000 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent avoided through REDD+ projects in Brazil and Cambodia
- 10 restoration projects in France and 5 conservation projects internationally
These figures reflect our long-term commitment to responsible forest management and climate action.
Our collaboration with Reforest’Action is a natural extension of our circular model: by extending pallet lifecycles and investing in ecosystem regeneration, we contribute to a more resilient and sustainable supply chain.
